I very sorry and very saddened to say, but I just found out that my dear friend and our forum friend, Ally Takeuchi aka PrettyBlueFin, got very ill and passed away suddenly on January 28. Her friend, Marylou just informed me. Info on her obituary is and guest book are

Marylou started a GoFundMe for Ally's son Evan, if anyone wants to help.

As she was a frequent enthusiastic poster on the Forum, I felt like I knew her. So sad to hear the news. I hope the best for her son, Evan.

I never got to interact with her. I joined in January. But any loss of a life is sad. And being now daily on the forums I have come across her posts while reading through. She seemed like a nice person and had a great attitude and positive energy. And she was so young.

He or she who said never leave what you can do today to do tomorrow is a wise one. We never truly know how many more times we will witness a sunset or how many more times we will get to see the face of your loves ones. Life is so volatile.

Sad.

My condolences to her family.

Was this the OC Cars and Coffee Jag meet up? I was never able to wake up in time to go with her. Very nice pic! Yeah she was special.

Sad news. That was very sudden as she was posting on the forum at the end of December.

She went through some emotionally difficult times over the last year, and started posting greatly on this forum. It gave her lots of internal comfort, and re-gained trust. She had a lot of fun interacting here, and was so happy with the interactions back. Well most, there was some online incident she mentioned, that escalated out of control. But she just joked about it. She even made a few good virtual friends here, that when we spoke, she would refer to kindly, and she always had a good wit and giggle about everyone here. She especially talked greatly of Billy Clyde in Texas aka bcprice36. Because of her, I even started calling him friend.

Default Good By my Friend......

Guys,

Sadly, I can't say Guys and Gal anymore.....Blue Fin was in love with her Coupe...and She finally got it the color and the way she wanted it...Her last session on the Forum showed the Coupe in that A-M color she loved...Thank Heaven she was able to get it the way she wanted it....I always thought it was beautiful in Silver and Black and we were back and forth on that but she did what she wanted to do as she always did in the end! I have been wondering what was going on with her lately and had started asking around.......God, I never dreamed of something like this! Life is so short!
I will miss her! She was a good person.....May God bless her....

Billy Clyde

Go to "Wow us with your Photos" Forum- She had posted photos of her Jaguar and on Page 69 or 70 this is the last post I could find and it is Her Coupe in the new A-M color she loved......BCP

Such sad news regarding one of our Forum Members. She alerted me to the A/M clear side markers and repeaters upgrade. So glad we had some brief interactions plus she was a very knowledgeable resource. Her posts indicated she lived her life in a way that was a credit to her family and her individual tastes. She will surely be missed by her friends on this forum and others familiar with her personally. RIP MS.PBF

So sad to hear.
She was so enthusiastic and eager to learn as much as she could about her beautiful ride. She'll certainly be missed by her forum friends and others as well. Rest in peace.

Default Evidently a victim of this years flu

I don't recall every having the pleasure but forums such as this one have allowed me to connect with people who have become friends over the years as the result of a shared interest and it's never easy to lose one.

I did track down a Facebook post by another close friend of hers who had spent sometime with her just prior to her untimely and unexpected death and he wrote that while she had a bit of a cough neither one thought it would lead to a virulent strain of the flu. Even way over here in Florida my Dr. warned me that this years version was particularly bad and some of his patients had needed hospitalization as a result.

She was just 48 years young.
