Jaguar ball joint separation with ease using Proper Tool
Used Ball Joint Tool to apply the correct pressure and angle - followed with a little MAP gas heat while shielding ball joint rubber grommet.
Then one good tap with Medium Hammer and tapered joint is loose from Steering Knuckle see my XK8 picture
Ball joints and grommets remained undamaged - I cannot say the same when using pickle fork method
