Angry Front wheel "clicking" noise

I have a really annoying clicking noise coming from the front offside wheel on my 2000 XKR. The clicking seems to increase with the revolution of the wheel. The only way I can describe it is it sounds like a bit of paper is stuck to the tyre. I have had the wheel off, inspected the callipers and rotors and can see nothing. Tyres are Dunlop Sport maxx on 20" Detroits. This is driving me mad !

I too think bearing but do check for a stone in your tire tread.

Raise the car up on that side and turn the wheel by hand. You might need a stethescope, but if you can still hear it you should be able to pinpoint the source. Could be wheel bearing, brake pad, or maybe just a rock. Hope for the rock, say "Thank you" if it's just a brake pad, and go to the bank if it's a wheel bearing.

Could be a loose or damaged wheel rim bolt or lug nut. Could be loose stainless trim strip or damaged wheel bearing.

This is an old thread, but I will comment anyway.

Back a few years ago we had the same issue, I thought it was a wheel bearing. Grinding noise, etc.
Took off the front tire and the brake roter and found that asphalt pebbles had found its way into the shield on the back of the roter and was raising all kinds of havoc and noise. Cleaned it out and its been fine ever since. Wife had driven in a area where they were repaving the road and picked up some pieces of sticky stuff.
