Default Fuel Pump removal

I've already cut the access hole and I've removed the blue plastic sender unit from the tank but I'm not sure how the physically get the pump out of the tank. I can see to fuel hose has to come off but what is holding the pump in the tank. I've done many searches, and I've watched many videos but no luck.
Help would be appreciated.

One little bolt at the bottom of the pump facing down.

xk8 coupe ..pull the back seat out...remove rear shelf cover . using the holes already in the shelf near the speaker hole ,cut two front to back slots in the shelf and bend the flap between out the way ,. Easy access to the top entrance remove ..long drive extension for the nut and pull it out . refit and bend back the flap of metal

I went through the speaker hole in my coupe. Of course, we have no idea what model the op has!

I would guess as they say they have already cut the access hole they have a convertible and as they have already done it, it's too late to tell them not to if they have a coupe.

First time I've seen the suggestion to cut a flap and bend it out of the way, then bend it back. I wonder if that would be a good solution for the convertible also?

The bolt holding the pump in is a 7mm i believe but may be an 8mm.2 pumps 2 bolts. II did mine by dropping the subframe down. Changed the diff oil while i was at it.

Sort of a follow up question on my 99 XK8 Convertible.
I had to cut the 3 rubber hoses that connect the blue sender unit to the hard lines. I ordered what I thought was the correct sizes but they came today and they aren't even close.
What are the correct sizes and where can I get those?

thx

Just measure the blue outlets & buy hose with an ID that size. But here's the thing: make SURE you get ethanol compatible hoses so they won't swell up & weaken!

Thanks, I thought I could buy OEM type hoses but that will definitely work.
