That's a bold statement! I'd be betting on the battery or the battery lead connections long before I started looking at the starter motor. A battery can easily drain in 6 weeks, and starting the car up the way you did proves nothing other than the battery had sufficient charge at that point. I doubt you ran the car long enough to even replace the charge that you used in starting the car.
