Can someone answer a quick question for me? My car is in the shop (getting an LS swap) and I need to order some new gauges for the center section (water temp, oil pressure and wideband) but I don't know how big the gauges are... I am thinking 2-1/16" but note sure? Does anyone know or can they check for me please?
Another option to consider is to use the Gauge fix to make the stock Water Temp and Oil pressure gauges functional. You could then add the wideband in place of the clock, or mount it remotely (use cell phone app, or small gauge mounted on dash at the left A pillar). This will keep the dash looking more stock, if that is of any interest. Wideband is something you may use a lot when you first start tuning, but over time it may become something you just check once in a while. The stock gauges are not very deep, so any replacements will need to be about 1" deep or less to fit ( need someone to accurately measure- 1" is an estimate).
Thanks! I ordered three new gauges from GlowShift last night. I bought the Elite 10 color gauges... hopefully they are awesome. Looks wise they will look similar to these gauges on my friend Keith's jag:
