Default Gearbox Oil Change - What a difference

Last week I canged the gearbox oil in in my 99 4l coupe, it had presumably never been done in the previous 116k miles.

I changed the fluid and the filter, cleaned all of the pan out, luckily there was no major metal parts and not a huge ammount of residue on the magnets.

Anyway, what a difference it made, the changes are much crisper, the whole car feels a little more responsive and a lot sharper to the throttle.

If you've been thinking about it, my advice is, Just do it!!!

Did you use any specific oil? Just the standard Pentosin product?

I used Mobil LT71141 I was offered a few cheap alternatives but plumped for the more expensive Mobil option.
