Gearbox /tracton controle faults
I would like to thank those people who advised me when I had gearbox /traction faults suggesting new battery etc having removed gearbox ECU completely and having the same information displayed
I obtained a wiring diagram and tracked the problem to the plug attached to the gear selector this had been fitted on the transmiton tunnel below the insulation material resulting in it getting hot and subjected to vibrations which caused intermittent bad connections .
as this has been bugging me for 9 months and is now resolved I thought my experience might be of use to others .
