Default getting e.c.m. back.

hi i am hopefully gatting my ecm back from asi this week . i am hoping they can tel me what might have burned up in it . was told it had somebody had worked on it before .did not repair it corectley. it had a burn spot about the size of a dime on the board .any ideas om what to check before i plug it in .dont want to short this one out .thanks for all the help.dan

Hi Dan, I think if your battery has been disconnected you should be safe. Otherwise do so and touch the neg. cable to the pos. post to reset.
