I purchased a 2006 XKR with the Alpine Sound System and the DVD was not in the car. The dealer said he would get a disk but I have not receive it yet. I was told that the Denso DVD will not work and the local dealer wants $300.00 for a new one.
Does anyone have a disk that can be copied? I am sure that I can cover the shipping, materialcharges if this would work.

The disk is sometimes available on EBay. The disk you want is:

It covers USA and Canada

I do know that some have made successful copies.
I'll give it a try this weekend.

 

Thanks Fred, I will cover any cost that you may have. I have read somewhere that the Disk could not be copied, but if you have done it before then great!.
I could not get the part number from the dealer, but he would sell me one. Iwill check the web sites to see if there are any out there. Let me know if you can copy and I will giveyou my Fed-Ex number and cover your costs.

 

i have the same problem and cannot find anyone who has the dvd. so far i have called 4 dealers, navteq.com (twice), the nationwide jaguar line, and alpine. each one points me to the other. any info i could get here would be a huge help. seems like the 2006 jaguar xkr dvd is quite the unicorn.
