Default Grant Steering Wheel Adapter

I am considering changing my steering wheel with an aftermarket one and need a part number or link to an adapter that I can use for the swap. I've run a search but I could not locate the part as described in the post.

Many thanks in advance!

Wouldn't you need to ID the new steering wheel to know what you might need from an adapter? Mind if I ask? What do you envision the adapters' function to be? Matc the jags spline to a different one on the steering wheel, port all switches/selectors to function on the new wheel? How will you manage the air bag safety/status/absence?

This might not be worth the effort, but let us know more about your thoughts.

Most adapters are universal on the steering wheel side but specific to the XK8 shaft.
No switches, controls or airbag.

Thanks Chip. Wont disconnecting the air bag cause a perpetual error display on your dash?

Hope I'm wrong, but seem to remember this coming up before. If it does, but you and your DMV inspectors can live with that, this is moot. Just don't want you to miss this if it's an issue.

Inspection first, then replace steering wheel. Repeat next year.
