Default Handbrake

Hello,got a sticky switch on the handbrake,.. light stays on dash but brake is released,can anyone tell me where I can find this switch? Thanks.

It is mounted on the side of the handbrake lever

Welcome Steve:
Would I be correct that you have properly released the brake by pulling it up, then pressing the release button and continuing to keep the button pressed until the handle is lowered to the floor? Some owners have not been aware of this and have put a drag on the brake, glazing their shoes to the point that the parking brake did not hold. If so, the brake indicator may or may not have lit.

Yep,handbrake does release ok but lights stay on,will check the switch soon now i know where it is! Thanks.

The same light is used for low brake fluid level so worth checking that too, if you haven't already.
