I am going through my xk8 which I have for 8 years. Just replaced seat upholstery, convertible top and head lining.
Has anyone replaced that huge rubber seal that goes up the A piller across the front header and down the other pillar?
How do you get the seal retainer off?

The seal retainer is that black/chrome metal strip on the outside of the A pillar. How does it come off. I looked all through JTIS.

 

Do you by any chance mean these seals?



They simply pull off, dont loose the end caps though.
