Headlight removal, condensation

Headlight removal, condensation
Hi all,
My RH headlight suffers from condensation after the briefest exposure to water.
I presume the water is entering via the glass to housing seal.
Would it be best to remove it to attempt to reseal?
How is the headlight removed? I don't want to break anything.
Can the light be fully disassembled?
Is this the way to go?
The lights are the earlier halogen type, can brighter/ better globes be purchased?
Is there anything else I should know?
Thank you for any and all assistance, anecdotes, advice and encouragement.

Al,
Condensation is a regular issue. There's a vent pipe can be retro fitted to minimise this:
417 05 - Headlamp Misting.pdf
However, it still doesn't entirely prevent condensation.
The seal between the glass and the headlamp body is also known to fail allowing water into the headlamp unit. The headlamp has to be removed to rectify this.
Is it condensation or seal failure on yours?

Here is the JTIS procedure for LH headlamp removal:
JTIS - XK8 Headlamp Assembly - 1997.pdf
RH is the same sequence.
The Parts Catalogue has the best illustration of how the headlamp lens attaches to the shell with slotted tabs clipping over raised mouldings:
(click on the diagram to enlarge it)
You'll get the idea of how to lift these with a screwdriver to release once you can see them.
