Default help! convertable top stopped straight up !

hello all,

my '05 vert is having a problem...ok... i probably caused it.
i have had XKRFACE on a lift for too long. i started her up and decided to work the top down and up several times to get the fluid circulated in hopes of changing the factory fluid (i am pretty sure) before it turns acidic. well, half way up, on about the third? cycle it stopped. i disconnected the batt in hopes it would clear...nope. i disconnected the batt and charged it over nite, reconnected and still no... scanner does not show a module to reset for the top... i have it (gently) manually open and into the boot. How can i reset the system ?
1 day update: i swapped the relays (in the trunk) to no avail... i did use the allen head to close the front latch...still no...
HELP !!!

THANK YOU !! in advance for any assistance,

Max & XKRFACE

a full set of baxtor's mounts on the way...i reeeeally want to get her on the ground to drive again )

...i luv this car...

Have you closed the petcock valve? If yes, try opening and raise the hood manually and latch closed. Then, close the valve and try opening again. Can you hear the motor running? You can test it directly by touching leads to the battery.

barnter- thank you for this input.
update: I found the #14 fuse (in the trunk block) burned. It is a 40 amp and there was a spare so i used it then tried to activate the top. It immediately blew the fuse again.
This would say that the pump is the issue however i don't have another 40 fuse to try again with the pump unplugged.
I will pick up some fuses today and proceed.
Question: is this an unusual issue ?

Thank you to any and all inputs,

Max

You might want to try getting the resistance across the black/white wires on the pump and let us know.
