Help with correct oil pan gasket for 98 XK8
Hey all. Asking for some assistance with this question. I am replacing my oil pan and gasket on a 98 XK8. I am seeing two vastly distinct types of gaskets with different pricing.
The first and most common is the jag OEM nca 1730ad (exact part number) gasket that looks like this
these run about 45-70 dollars depending on where.
But I am also seeing a ton of these aftermarket gaskets. They do not have the exact curvature of where the bolts would be as you can see from the difference in the pics but they are also $10-20 dollars.
is there a true difference here? is this one of those you get what you pay for deals or is the 2nd just as fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
