Help!! What has gone on my engine?
FYI - The 2005 S-Types had a recall to replace leaking gas tanks. The leak occurred where the fuel filler tube joined the tank. Symptoms included gas spilling onto the ground during fill-ups at the gas pump. My S-Type had its gas tank replaced under this recall prior to us purchasing it....
Never heard of this issue on an XK8, but I thought you might want to know....

Oh yes. I'm sure it's right where the line exits the trunk. There's no fuel in the boot or smell, so it's under the car. The line.
The leaking fuel is a serious issue, have you had the fuel pump replaced recently? I am attaching a link on the procedure to replace the fuel pump and on the last page #5 toy can see the fuel lines and where they go into the tank. I hope it helps.

Once the fuel leak is corrected I would have your battery tested Jaguar electrical system is critical and does not take voltage fluctuations lightly.
I am also going to attach a procedure on how I clean a Throttle Body and it might help. It not only cleans the TB all the other stuff to the plugs. I should also mention that I use BG44K as a fuel additive.

I hope this helps.
