Default HID Lights advice for 2002 XKR

I've got a 2002 XKR and want to upgrade the lights and possibly the fogs to HIDs. Has anyone done this. I've found some sights on the net but am worried about reliability. If you have any advice, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanx in advance.

I used carhidkits.com BUT this really only works for the Low beams as a plug and play kit, even tho the Fog lights are the same lights.... I specified Fog but they have a diff connector and would need to be spliced (my fogs are sitting in my garage still) . The high beams are Dif from the Low and Fogs. I never looked at them.

The pic was the pic I sent the company to explain how these fog connectors were diff. They said they didn't make them so I'm waiting to splice them in, I don't think to hard though. The Fogs are easier to get to then the Low/main beams.

be sure to search fourm there is a lot of people who have done this mod.

This was done on my 1999 XK8 and i love the look. 2002 could be diff. I went with the whitest color.

Should be fairly easy change, hardest part will be the access to the bulbs in the headlamps.

Here's the best place I have found for kits at reasonable prices. This place helped BMW and Porsche research their HID applications.

http://www.ddmtuning.com/catalog/HID_Lighting-54-1.html

BTW, I have ordered a kit for my sons 3000GT and it worked perfectly.
