After 13 or 14 years, my HID Bulbs or Ballast are shutting down....They started "flickering" a bit at the end of the end of "Winter-Time" and I haven't used them much this Summer, but the other Night I had to stay late at the Office and discovered that my Right-side HID had stopped burning all together. Funny, as I noticed it would come back on for a second or two and then go out......I assume that it's the Ballast but I decided to just replace everything as they are so old. I started looking for replacements and quickly found the D1S Bulbs at a reasonable price but I haven't found which Ballast I'm suppose to use......This is where you Guys come in!

Which Ballast is the best for the money? Which part number fits the XKR? and where do I go on the Internet to buy them? I found some that cost $495.00 each and I saw some for $99.00 and they sorta look alike...So, what's the deal? Can someone HELP?

Valeo LAD5G or 43736 look to be the ones that fit, plenty on Google.

Thanks very much for this information...This is exactly what I was looking for... ! HIDConcepts.com is in Chicago and they have packages already put together with the Ballast and Bulbs...I ordered a package with 2 D1S Osram Cool Blue, 2 Valeo LAD5G Ballast (New) with Gaskets & Screws for $409.99. The Ballast are the same Brand that came on the XKR....and the shipping is FREE! I checked my Order about 10 minutes after I entered it and they said it would be Shipping Tomorrow.....
!It was great to go to one place and buy everything you need for your XKR and know it will fit and that it is (NEW). I looked and looked all over the internet and found that some of the Ads appeared to be selling new Ballast but when you got down to it, they would never say they were NEW! I'm sure that most of the ones I found on some of the shopping networks were off wrecked cars....Could never pin them down to tell me they were selling (NEW) Ballast....That's why I put out the call for HELP!
