high brake light nightmare
been thru many post on this issue. here's what's happening. I got the car back from the paint shop and the high brake light wasn't working. started looking around. the lower lights work. checked all the fuses in the trunk fuse panel. good. checked relay # 5 bench test good. checked the light itself, good.
kinda lost now. If the lower lights are working the brake light switch must be good ? One spot I haven't checked is the ground at the light itself.
Really would like some ideas please.

did they connect the high brake light back up?? If you pull the lining off the the trunk near the brake light, you will see the small connector - if they didn't plug it back in - then she no work
Hay thanks for the help. That's where I checked the light operation from, but I didn't check ground at that point on the car harness. I just hooked a hot and ground to the light plug. I guess I should have checked the harness for ground there also.
Did you check with a multimeter for power at the connector when braking? If not do you get power for it further back? If you get power there, maybe they broke a wire internally when they unplugged it
