I have removed everything according to the JTIS and my Supercharger is lose and ready to come out but when I slide it all the way forward the bottom supercharger bracket hits the charger coolers and if I slide it all the way forward the charge coolers are again in the way and cant tilt the supercharger out, the wiring harness above the snout is preventing me from pulling it straight up. Do I need to remove the charge coolers as well before the supercharger can come out?? Please advise thank you This is the supercharger slide all the way forward and snout tilted down, it can tilt further but eventually that bottom bolt hole hits the charge coolers
Okay figured it out, I always feel dumb after walking away in frustration and coming back to it a little later and figuring it out. So you have to slide the sup charger forward tilt the snout upwards as much as the wire harness allows and slide the supercharger a couple inches more forward and then tilt the snout down, then you can slide it back up and out. Hopefully I didn't damage any wires in the process
There seems to be nothing simple about working on an AJ engine, especially the supercharged version.
They are very compact but it's pretty clear these were meant to be assembled outside of the car where you have ready access on all sides, then installed and never touched again!
