Hello everyone, I've owned my beloved XKR Victory for a little over a year now but my current financial situation is not looking good and I'm not sure I would be able to keep her. I have two other daily driver's but insurance costs as well as storage fees are creeping up really fast. Anyways, I wanted to know how much should I ask for her and any other advice you may have.
She has about 100K miles and a theft recovery history. Everything works and I will let you guys be the judge on her condition.

Beautiful car and I'd ask $12-14K with 100K miles and a title issue. The car is super rare and will likely be worth much in the future when it achieves "classic" status.

 

She is a 2006 and has 75500 rolled miles. Title shows no brands but not actual miles is shown. I checked with the department of transportation and they showed a 99k miles registration 6 moths before I purchased it.

 

On the west coast with an "iffy" mileage history I would say $12,000 max. In California any theft recovery would have a branded salvage title and the mileage issue would show up on a CARFAX further lowering it's value. I doubt in our lifetime, this car would attain a "classic" status. I like the car, the mileage issue would not bother me personally and I would take advantage of the lesser value because of the iffy history. Do an EDMUNDS.com valuation and subtract 20 to 30% IMO.

 

There were less than 700 '05-06 XKR coupes made worldwide.

When People stop buying "me too" classic cars, they will be looking for something like this.

I never thought my '71 cuda340 convert would ever be worth more than $12K, then one day someone offered me $36K (and jumped on it in a heartbeat) and If I had held onto it, two years later I could have sold it for $75K.

Car people see value in having something "different". '71 Cuda's are terrible cars (I drove one daily, I would know). Making them without a roof made them even worse, but you cannot deny the visual appeal, which is why people pay stupid money for things.

I had actually seen the craigslist add before but I'm not sure its a victory, thats why I decided to ask you guys.

It really is a shame. She's been dead reliable and I will try my best not to sell her, but if you see her on the sale/wanted section you will know I had to.

 

There are no comparables with a rebuilt title, so it's a hard question. Most people that are looking at that type of car are looking for a collectible, but a rebuilt is not collectible.

I would also say anywhere from 10k-14k. You would also need to find a buyer willing to risk buying a rebuilt. I would eBay it and see how much it brings in, you need a much bigger net than the local market in Miami.

 

That one has been for sale on Craigslist for at least 7 months..

I like the coupe far more than the Vert, but it's really "her" car....I just fix it.
