Default How to Remove the Door Panel (VIDEO) FAQ

I was tinkering a couple of days ago and decided to remove the door panel to fiddle with my window adjustment. I decided to make a video just so that others who may be tempted to do it can see how easy it is. After making the video I realized that I was talking too fast and mumbling, so it's kinda hard to understand me at times, but you can get the gist of what I'm doing just by watching.

Keep in mind that you might break a couple of the little tab things that hold the panel to the door frame. You can buy extras at any auto parts store. I couldn't find any that were specific to the Jaguar, but Jag-specific tabs aren't necessary. Just compare the ones that come out of the Jag to the ones in the rack at the parts store and you'll find some that work.

Here is the VIDEO.

The video starts out kinda dark, but it gets better after a few seconds. This is something that's really simple to do, but I was intimidated the first time I tried it. As you can see from the video, it can be done in about 3 minutes.

Nice one Sam, thanks for the vid and for sharing.
This needs to be FAQ'd ......I believe there may be existing threads on this subject but a video will certainly be useful too.
Thanks
Jim

Hello,

Posted this link in the bluetooth post but I think it's also relevant.

If you click the 'coupe instructions' then 'front speakers' there are pictures etc.

Jag Audio Upgrade

Great vid btw.
