Default How To Remove the Wheel Well Liner (Video) FAQ

I wanted to get to my canister purge valve, which means I had to take out the wheel well liner. Since several people have had questions about that lately, I made a video.

Excellent...this and the door panel removal are two of the key steps you already have on video now needed to wire in the remote control convertible top.

Great work, as always, Sam. Straightforward instruction that we can all understand and follow. Well done.

A month or two ago. They look better than the painted calipers, but I wish they didn't say "Brembo" on them. It's a little embarrassing. From 5 feet away you can't tell the difference, but up close it's obvious that they are just covers. They only cost me $20 on eBay, plus $10 or so for shipping. The glue that holds them in place is quite awesome. I'd like to get some more of the glue.

Nice job, Rev. Now I know what's hiding behind that puppy and how to get to it all. Thanks.

Tell me Sam, why did you want to get to the purge valve??? I have a check engine light - small emissions leak ( and it aint the fuel tank cap, got a new one). Could that be a bad purge valve.

This all seems to be pretty specific to model year as the Gummint kept tightening the screws. Mine is also an '03.

I've had a problem for the last 8 months that I'm trying to resolve without removing the fuel tank. From what I've read, it's easier to launch a space shuttle than it is to remove the fuel tank. I thought the canister purge valve might be the problem, but I was wrong.

Sam, a follow up question. How can I check the purge valve to see whether it is working properly or not? Thanks for your help.
