hydraulic leak

Cool hydraulic leak

going to try to bypass and use the 1506L and the 1306LSR nut and plug w/oring. one silly question...do i need to cap off the hydraulic lines also or just on the pump.... top should still go up and down once i manually open the clamps from what I read............ thanks guy for all your help...........wish me luck...tony ordered parts from malone speciality 1-800-874-3077 larry

In the "manual latch" link in my sig line there is a discussion about what to do with the open ends of the abandoned latch hoses (at the pump end).

Do NOT cap them or try to connect them together. Leave them open.

You might want to drop the ends into an empty plastic bottle, or wrap them up in something absorbent, since they may spit a little fluid when you operate the latch manually.
