Question I my ABS stays lit (most of the time)

Yesterday It went out and my cruise control worked. Now it is back on and up to its old tricks. What kind of connection is causing this, and where is it located?

How old is the battery? What is it's resting voltage? Is it fully charged?

You should scan for codes to see why. It can come on for several reasons. BTW, have you repaired/refurbished your ABS module yet?

No, I have yet to refurbish my ABS module. It worked for a few miles and then relit. This sounds as if it is a connection problem.

It may well be so:- the extensions to the front wheel sensors can fail with the repeated flexing. There's also the pump motor connectors internal to the ABS module that go intermittent (codes may not show on a simple OBD reader).

But - do check battery state first as advised.
