1999 XK8, My usual mechanic in town doesn't want to try it. Can anyone recommend someone for me? I'm 99% sure its a blown head gasket, however no tests have been done. My car is in Monson Mass, but I'll deliver it wherever so that the right guy can fix it.

I'd recommend Dean at Motorcars Inc (http://www.motorcarsinc.com).

I've not had any work done there myself (I DIY!), but I know Dean well (he's an active member of JCSNE in Connecticut, and many of our members speak very highly of his work.

Good luck!!

I see them often at Lime Rock and thought I'd give them a try doing a complete brake job and installing a new passenger window regulator. I was not disappointed. A quality shop like this isn't inexpensive but for the work they did for me I thought my final bill was very fair. Here is a shop in which you get what you pay for. I will send all my non home repairable s to them should any arise. Recommended.
