I am going to replace my water pump in my 2001XK8 while replacing my radiator and thermostat tower.

Does anyone have the JTIS instructions for replacing the water pump?

Did you try to download it from the FAQ section? I can't seem to get the file off my cd to send you. Real easy job though, even I did it.

 

mike66, I have tried 3 times to download JTIS from 2 different links and get corrupt files or files that do not open on my vista o/s laptop. I also have the JTIS cd I purchased off the internet, cannot get that to run, when I click on Service (manuals) I get a box come up with JJTIS MFC application has stopped working, then windows closes the program. So you can understand my frustration with JTIS.

When you replaced the water pump how do you take the tension, or the belt off?

JTIS won't work on vista, windows 7 (or W8).
