Default Last ball Joint Question

Tested my old ball joint today and it moved around pretty much as I expected. I also expected the new BJ
shaft to move around smoothly but in fact it does not move at all. None of the four do. Not even when you tap
them with a hammer. The shafts are frozen and don’t move at all. Is this normal for a new ball joint? I have
the right upper installed on the control arm and since it will not move it is difficult to line up properly with the mounting
hole. Thanks

That new ball joint should move freely in order to function properly. Can you tell why it is seized up?

I can't see all new joints coming to you seized. New will normally be much stiffer and have more resistance to initial movement but movement will still be smooth when it occurs.

You need a can of spinach.

( I checked your DoB to be sure you're old enough to remember the Popeye cartoons before I posted this)

Haha that is true no doubt. I’m pretty sure I would lose at arm wrestling to Olive Oyl.
