Default Beautiful!

Thanks for the great pictures of your beautiful car. Was wondering about the cross bar as well. Enjoy the ride!

I noticed that brace also, and was wondering if it would make the vert chassis more rigid. Also, in thinking about the air cleaner, I was wondering if the stock one wouldn't be more efficient because it's bring in cooler outside air rather than the hot air from under the hood. Would the fact that it has less restriction offset the warmer air issue?

I obviously have way too much free time!

Default air filter

you maybe right about the airfilter max but I find it fine with the heat shield and as you may have notice I do have two not one cold air intake hoses one on each side of the filter I can feal a diff from the stock and omg what a sound it makes, goes well with the sound of the exhaust.

Looks great Graham, love the extra touches! Really dig the steering wheel badge, is that a custom thing? I looked all over Ebay after seeing your post yesterday and no dice. I mentioned on another thread how much better the XJ/Stype/XType steering wheels look and I think the badge is a big reason why.

The steering wheel badge definitely rocks! Probably easier to find that and the winged hood emblem in the UK than in the US. Giving serious thought to both the strut brace and the air filter. Would really like to know if the strut brace improves overall rigidity of the body on the convertible. My fear is that if I purchase either one or both of these things, something expensive will break (it's the way of the Universe).

Default steering wheel badge

the steering wheel badge also of ebay £5 and its a 3m stickon, just type in jaguar badges and you will find them, the strut brace is a great improvement, thay also do rear front and center under body braces how it would improve the convert I cant say,i love my ebay lol.by the way guys the badge is chrome look plastic not metal so not to worrie if the airbag goes off but then again that's the least of your probs if it does

Thanks Graham, I'm also an e-bay addict. I'll check out that Jaguar badge. If anyone's interested, I found the previously-mentioned strut on e-bay from a US company; $ 168.00. The seller claims it helps handling, and I wouldn't doubt it might reduce cowl shake some. On the fence for the moment, but if I decide to pull the trigger I'll give a full report.
