Default Leaking windshield washer reservoir?

Found a puddle of watery fluid on the garage floor in front of the left front wheel. Not coolant (although I did check coolant level and looked carefully for a leak) so I think it could be from the windshield washer reservoir. Has annyone experienced something similar?

Yes, it’s a common occurrence. Most of the time a new seal wil fix it. But the reservoirs will also crack, but this is less likely.

you’ll have to remove the wheel liner to examine

Indeed. It will be the large rubber doughnut seal that, for some reason, is halfway down the side of the the washer tank rather than in the top.

I tried to fix mine with lubricant/sealant etc but once the rubber has gone hard with age it really needs replacing. I got mine from Jaguar but that was 10 years ago. At least it's an easy job once you're removed the liner.

Pulled the smaller “maintenance cover” from the plastic fender liner and the washer reservoir is right there. There was indeed an obvious leak from the rubber “donut”. Ordered new part online from Jagbits.

Pulled the LF wheel and fender liner today. The new rubber “donut” installed easily into the side of the reservoir, and the fill pipe inserted smoothly with a bit of waterproof grease. Did have to make a quick run to the auto parts store for some replacement plastic fasteners for the liner. One of the easier repairs to our Jag!
