I am confused, trying to order or find a rear window regulator, its drivers side rear, American of course....is that left or right side,

 

The universal standard for the point of view when referencing parts of a car is as if you are sitting in the car. Therefore in the US, drivers side is the left. In the UK drivers side is the right.

 

Setting in the car facing forward the right side is your right side. Oh yes. You want to be setting on your butt as apposed to any other posture. A little humor there.

had ot buy a regulator, did it online. driver side. pulled mine out, found the wire was ttoally wrapped up in the drive section. I removed the drive section and tried to remove it but it was too badly kinked up.

dang it

found one online for 140

 

............ follows the same logic as LHD and RHD.
