Tried swapping over the power packs? If it still does not work then its obviously the power going to the power pack. If it does work then its the power pack thats faulty.

I'm not sure what the power pack is - can you elaborate?

Thanks for the reply.

Sure if you are talking HID headlights they use a power pack/ballast. This is what they should look like

Thanks again for you reply Frank -
I have the HID blub/assembly as seen at 33sec in the video.

I have looked for a ballast component, but cant locate.
Any hints on where to look?
Or is the ballast contained in the module attached to the bulb?

Thanks

I should also add that I have 12v at the fuse -
looks like I may be chasing the wiring between the fuse and the HID bulb.

The ballast assembly is part of the headlight assembly which you will need to remove to access the ballast.

I had a problem with the passange lamp but after replacing both lamps, the problem moved to drivers side. After a lot of swapping parts, I found that a contact in the shielded cable that connects to the lamp had broken. It is a rather weak connection and very difficult to see unless the assembly is removed from the car.

Anyone know where I can purchase the ballast for the headlight?

Jag only sells the full headlamp assembly - over $1600 !!

Thanks again for all the replies.

Looks like I may have found one - OriginalXenonPart shows to have one.
I sent them an email to ask the price.
Also there is one on Ebay for $119.

I'll let y'alll know the results.

Thanks again.
