Default Little Jags

I've been in the process of packing to move for what seems like weeks. Actually, I guess it has been. Anyway, as I pack up my diecasts I also have to unpack the storage boxes so I can combine them. I just came across 3 XK's that have been put away since the 1990's I guess. My display cases are full and I have changed my preferences for the cars I buy these days, so I really don't want to re-pack these and take them with me. I'd like to pass them on to other Jag lovers for a paltry $25 apiece. They are all mint in mint boxes and are 1/18 scale. 1998 XKR, an KJ220, and an XK180.

very cool! I'm sure someone will want those, even if it doesn't match what they currently own. I've got a little 1/43 diecast for each of my rides sitting on my desk at work. Looks like you have a TON of those cars.

Not to be a downer but outside of the XKR the other two can be bought at Sams Club and Costco before Xmas and Fathers day regularly for $9.99-11.99. The XKR you can normally only find on Ebay and I bought one a few months ago, new, strapped in the box for $20.00. Having owned a retail diecast store for years some diecast cars increase in value while others just remain stagnant and Maisto makes 100,000 of each model for the most part so they never really increase in value. If your pricing them at $25 shipped then they are a fine deal though.

Nice models, but not true scale. Someone might actually fit in that XKR's backseat.

Yeah, those front seats must be way up.

I wasn't aware these are still being sold in retail stores since most of them came on the market in the mid-late 1990's. When I bought mine I scoured multiple stores and some of the big wholesale shows here to get the best ones available. If they are available for $10-15, then I guess that's what I'd take.

Here's what I'm faced with packing up. These are about half the "small" ones (1/18):

I think you've crossed the line from home collection to store!

Great collection and beautifully displayed.

Oh, yeah...since I was able to get my hands on a "Silk Cut" LeMans winning XJ9R, I'm selling one of my Castrol #88 Daytona winners (in the pic on the shelf). Apparently, these have been designated as "retired" and the price has been shoved up into unreasonableness. I'm asking $225 while the claimed retail is supposed to be a grotesque $700, and Ebay sellers are asking from $350-500. Again, mint car, mint box.

More like going from getting a few that I really wanted and could not find the kits or the time to build ---- to a sick obsession with "pretty trinkets".

My wife says that if I die she's gonna have a big garage sale....$.25 each. Yes, that's 25 cents
