The long awaited day finally arrived!
May I add my congratulations on completing your schooling. In normal times I spend a couple weeks in your beautiful country during my yearly escape winter trip. Do you have any openings in late February or early March?

Thanks to everyone who has congratulated me! I would also like to thank you guys here in the forum for giving me the courage, information and knowledge needed to maintain these cars. Without you guys I would not have been able to maintain and afford two X100s while in school.
Congrats again, DR. Gian.. You did notice the fine print in this forum's 'Rules & Reg.s'. Para. 247-2-37-0056-X100 clearly states that any Member graduating from Dental School in Puerto Rico is required to provide fellow( & Lady) Members free dental care, and adult beverages (rum based, of course) for life???
Got a couple of loose fillings, see you in September.....

I am sharing with the X100 forum some personal news after getting the go ahead from Graham.
After 9 years of higher education, 5 of them on a bachelors degree, 4 years in dental school, a lot of sacrifice, perseverance, passion and dedication, and the countless sleepless nights that I studied, the mornings when I would wake up in the library or the simulation lab, 1 hurricane, the loss of a father, the earthquakes, protests, school accreditation renewal, and a pandemic, I can now conclude this marathon by saying I finally did it.
Yesterday, I accomplished my dream and graduated from Dental School. I am now officially Dr. Giandanielxk8.

Thank you all
GiandanielXK8,
My two best friends one of which I have known since elementary school over 60 years ago, both became dentists (graduates of USC). I used to be their guinea pig when they had to work on patients at school. Congratulations on your achievement. It was a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to do it, but now all you have to do is work the rest of your life to make it pay off. My closest friend is still working, in fact, I am seeing him tomorrow for a broken tooth (and playing golf with him on Thursday). Enjoy your success and your Jaguar, of course. WELL DONE!

Now that you are about to become a 'Rich and Famous Tooth Extractor', does this mean that you are going to sell you Xk in favor
Now that you are becoming a Rich and Famous "Tooth Fairy", does this mean you will be selling your XK in favor of a new Corvette(or Maclaren)?

No, I plan on keeping my XKR. It was my father's before he died and it holds sentimental value. I do plan to buy a used F-type R coupe a year or two from now to complement the XKR.
Daniel, the only question I have is. What was harder dental school or owning a Jaguar the last couple years? Well done and good luck on your path going forward.
Cheers!
Andrew
