Default LSD or no?
Had the blue tortoise rear end up on jack stands today. To check for LSD if I spin one rear wheel and the other goes opposite? That's what happened. 1998 XK8. 4.0. LSD? Yes or no?

No. Every limited slip, traction lock, Detroit locker, etc that I've seen, BOTH wheels rotate the same direction.

There was no factory fitted LSD option for these cars.

Wasn't there one offered on the XJ8 that some folks talked about fitting on the x100 ? Thought I remember reading that once.

QUAIFE can be fitted but there was NO LSD fitted to ANY X100, X308 from the factory.
XJ40 or X300 can be fitted with some modification.
