Hiya folks,

So I’m looking for some advice on where to start with diagnosing an issue with my seat memory function, here’s what’s happening:

I follow the handbook’s instructions to set the seat memory perfectly, for the sake of testing I set both 1 and 2 to be in two completely different positions, and just the seat, I don’t touch the steering wheel or mirror positions. Now, when I press and hold the 1 or 2 buttons to recall the positions all that happens is the steering wheel moves down slightly, then the finishing beep sounds and that’s it. If I press the same button immediately again the steering wheel moves down slightly further again and then beeps, and so on.

Clearly something’s burst, so what do you think? Where do I start?
