When the drive mechanism has failed, is it easy to adjust the driver or passenger seat to a preferred position?

wondering if it’s worth the hassle to chase the wiring, gearing or motors if it’s the same driver / passenger.?

Many times the square drive cable slides out of the drive end of the motor.
More diagnosis with info please.

 

You need to listen for the motor running to see if its wiring or mechanical
