metalic noise from left side

hi there,

Im julio pena from portugal, and i have an xk8 of 1998. he have 83.000 klm and this week i listen an noise at left side front or rear, i dont know.

Is an metalic noise, Is an rotative noise, i brake and the noise desapear. After 10 minutes the noise came back.
I stop the car and i start again and the metalic noisse cames again.

I see de front brakes and is ok, the real brakes and his ok.

Sincerely i dont know the problem is?

everyone can help me to dicover de who the noise is ?

One of my brake pads (left rear also) was dragging the rotor, and could only be truly fixed by replacing the rotors and pads with new ones. While in there, grease up the caliper pins good, and it wouldn't hurt also...with the age and mileage of the car, to bleed the brake system. In fact, that may be the first thing I would do before replacing pads/rotors. Just some ideas to chew on, and good luck.
