Ok.... I have a folding mirror issue, drivers side ( right) folds and unfolds beautifully as commanded... passenger side ( left) folds in as commanded but when it unfolds it drives right through its driving position to a full forwards possition..... any ideas folks

Could be off the drive peg if someone has knocked it or folder it manually.

My '06 has non folding mirrors. They are loose in position, so that they will move freely for about 3-5 degrees. I must manually reposition them occasionally. Does anyone have a remedy for tightening or stabilizing them is one position, short of 'gluing' them in place?

Welcome to the forums Matt,

The OP Brian8700 hasn't been on the forum since January 2021. However, I'll be surprised if the solution to your problem is not the procedure I gave in post #2.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Default I'm back

Firstly my apologies for being away. Long story but I'm sorry.
Anyway I did not even get to my car very much during this period and only now getting back involved.

Did anyone have a solution, I have tried the reset function and that did not help. Sides ( Matt) did you sort this on your XKR

Thanks and more apologies

Brian
