Hi All,

I had my 2000 XKR on a lift at the garage and I noticed that the undercover, the large plastic cover that shields the bottom of the engine, is missing.
I talked to the mechanic who worked on it last and he said it was not there.

The last time I had it in the air prior to this, the shield was there.
I can't imagine that I would not have noticed if it had fallen off while I was driving.

The owner said he had a couple of shields lying around the shop and if one was mine, he would put it on.
I looked at them today and they do not match my recollection and all the lifts were full so he could not put it up in the air.

I searched the internet and the only pictures I could fine were for X150s.

Does anyone have a picture of the undercover for the X100 so I could compare?

Several members have reported the centre missing and only the outer 'triangles' or remains of them still attached.

The only thing bolted UNDER the engine is the Alternator Cooling Duct below the oil filter and that part is NLA from Jaguar.

 

4 bolts each side on mine were loose or missing so I replaced all 8.

 

It’s 421.00 on eBay. Surely there is a lower cost plastic one available somewhere?
