Filled up the tank last week, and the gauge showed almost, but not quite full. Filled it up again this week, and the gauge showed two thirds full. After a couple of days driving, it has increased to three quarters. I assume the tank will be full after a few more days...

Joke aside, something funky is going on with the tank gauge or sender unit - anyone else experience this?

The battery is fresh and healthy, I have not jump started the car, charging is good and everything else in the instrument cluster is working fine. Also, it is not a problem of not being able to fill the tank up - the amount suggests it really does get filled up when tanking.
