I just removed the fuel pump, due to non-operation. The pump is actually OK. It was the inline noise suppressor on the pigtail that failed open. The in-tank pump discharge hose was hardened and badly cracked. Also the upper and lower rubber isolators that hold the pump to the bracket are badly deteriorated.
The upper isolator NND6025BA has been discontinued! Without it, the pump cannot be mounted to the bracket. The Delphi pump that I have includes a few of the lower cup-style isolators, that do not fit the bracket. As far as I can tell, all of the aftermarket pumps kits have these same pieces.
Does anyone know of an alternate source for this rubber isolator? If a new pump is sourced from Jaguar, does it come with these pieces? If I can't replace this part, the only option I see is to modify the bracket to use a U-bolt and cup isolator. I really hate having to hack things together like that!
If anyone has a new upper isolator, I will gladly buy it.
