Default New born rear car seats xk8

I was hoping someone could solve this problem for me. My wife is expecting and I was wondering if anyone knew of a car seat that could fit in the back of my 2003 xk8. I have got a front facing seat for my 3 year old, but am struggling to find a new born rear facing seat. Thanks

Hi, your local Jaguar dealer should be your first port of call. Can't be too careful with kids stuff.
Nuff said.

Welcome

Doddy6257,

I've moved your question from New Member Area - Intro a MUST to XK8/XKR forum. Members here with the same model will be able to advise.

Please check my reply to your original Intro:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...needed-115321/

It has some advice on locating information about your model and on posting.

Graham

Default Child Seat

My little girl loves to ride in the Jag! She is in a Graco convertible in rear facing mode and if I put the seat slid all the way forward and tilt it all the way forward (in its latch, not flopping against the dash), she can fit so long as I use the seat without the quick attach base. It's not the easiest way to drive since I am all the way back with some tilt and it is almost impossible to use the passenger side mirror, but doable. She love it because she can look over and see me. Her is a picture from August or so. No top down rides yet this year due to weather and the fact that I need to top up the fluid (I think my passenger side ram is leaking out the seal)

My four year old could use a little booster and fit in fine. I use to put his child seat in, but since the regular seat is so small, he just needs to get up a little higher to fit in. I took him once with no seat, but the belt hits too high for that, plus he likes to see out.

My 10 and 8 year old love to go together with the older one it front and younger in rear. The youngest two require the seat too far ahead for humans to fit in front of them.

Maybe it's time for you to get a nice, safe, family car.
