Default new exhaust, more than I bargained for

I came across a low mileage 2004 exhaust (it was replaced with an aftermarket after a couple of k miles by the original owner) and offered £150 for it, with thoughts of just storing it till it was needed. It was delivered today and came with a few extra bits.

Both tail pipes look aftermarket but I will try to use the larger ones.

WOW, did the Bobbies show up and get you for stealing. Way to go. I always am the second caller in these situations.

I'm going to suggest something. If you want a bit more sound, actually a seriously good sound, leave a couple things off. I did 5 different changes and the last was the easiest and sounds amazing!!
Loose the big center resonator for a H pipe, loose the two small mufflers ahead of axle and keep the large factory rear mufflers.
I had a dozen questions at the JCNA concours event this weekend on how I got the sound. And I heard mine against several aftermarket systems and they all said hands down mine was best.
Oh I won the event in my division too!! Lol

Congratulations!

This exhaust will be going into storage as my existing one is still in good condition, however I am planning the mid box delete in the next month or so. I will leave the big front box as is for the time being as it does act as a muffled X or H according to pics on an earlier thread.

Looks good. I knew someone could make the over axle pipe that is not squished down almost flat. The before axle mufflers need to definitely go also.

I've been toying with some kind of exhaust because as we all no they are way to quiet. Think of just the Mina rear muffler delete.
How does your sound? Loud? Does it resonate in the car on the open road?
