Welcome!

Is it the nighttime backights that are out or the on/off indicators on the console switches?

If you have climate control problems you can easily pull the climate control error codes on the display to help you narrow down the problem. See the attachment.

Hi thanks for the faster than light reply, will check the error logs shortly, the trouble with the switches is that the night time lights do not come on otherwise they seem to work fine. Now here is a stupid question, how far do the front seats recline both of mine seem to recline back a bit than stop??? Thanks again

You need to remove the center console, then remove the switch panel and replace any bulbs that are out. The bulbs are Jaguar part number LNA5180CA.

Here is a video on removing the console:

Regarding the recline question, does the recline work in both directions?

Thanks white will start on switches as soon as i find out if the bulbs are available here, the recliners work both forward and backwards but do not go al the way back, just want to know if thats the way Jag made them. Now seem to have an other small problem, the door windows do not go back up when i close the door, they used to go back up that one inch to lock back up into the roof packing. every time i open the door the window comes down an inch and does no go back up when i close it. I will check and post by other members if they had this problem. Thanks again

They do not tilt back to a full recline as in some vehicles, but it should go back a good 25-30 degrees or so.

Hi Charlie,
With reference to your windows, have you disconnected the battery at any point as for both windows to be affected it sounds like they have lost their memory. Try resetting the memory first before you go looking for something more expensive.

Hope this helps,
