Default Newbie here with AC problem

I have had my xk8 for about a month and have noticed that the right center and far right ac face vents seem to be blowing warmer air than the left side vents. I have been trying to find information on the ac vent system but not to much luck. I am assuming that the face vents are feed by one piece of duct work, so the difference in temps does not make any sense. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

We could help better if we had more details about your car You can add vehicle details to your Signature. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

The centre vents are fed by a common duct. The left and right side vents have separate ducting.

The schematic of the AC system is useful to illustrate the component layout:

If cold air delivery is totally inadequate, you may need a re-gas. If it is only uneven delivery Upper/Footwell or Left/Right, the issue is likely to be with the heater Unit.

The Heater Unit has flaps controlled by servo motors (items 2 & 3) to direct the airflow:

Reported problems have been:

1. sticking servo motor
2. sticking flap
3. foam breaking up blocking outlet
