I see the two-seat convertibles described as X100 and X150.
Please tell me the difference.

The X100 was the older model 1996-2006 and X150 was the later model 2006-2014

Explanation of the codes. X100 and X150 are the factory design codes used by JLR, their Dealers and the forum to distinguish between similarly badged models such as your XKR and the later aluminium bodied model like my Coupe where the SC version is also badged as XKR.

Not too difficult with the two door models but a real issue with the XJ6 badge which was applied to four totally different model ranges between 1968 and 2009.
