I have a 2008 XKR that I just acquired
It has the rear sensors on it that show on the indash factory screen how close you are to something

I would like to add a camera but dont want to loose the current functionality

Mainly I see 2 options
1) Add a 3rd party camera and change my rear view mirror to one that has a screen built in - effectively keeping the indash sensors and adding a camera uptop

2) Add a camera and wire it to the indash system - this only allows me to show either the camera or the sensors

So far option 1 looks like to be my preferred approach
But I just came across this stated OEM system that reports it is compatible with my year and make vehicle

Looking at the pictures in the link, it also appears allow both functions to work together

Has anyone any experience of this product and if it truly will allow me to have the camera and rear sensors show and work together

Nice, says it will work. We have to cobble together parts for our 96-06 models.
