Opening Boot with Flat Battery

Unfortunately, I have closed my boot on my 1997 XK8 without the battery attached to the car. Now I can't open the boot :| Does anyone know how I can get it open????? Many thanks in advance.

Just take the key, look for a hole which is located below the right rear lights left of the letters XK and turn it to open. It is explained in the car book Good luck

if the barrel is seized.. open hood and power up fuse boxes with a booster pack..then press unlock.. and if the latch is seized then you really in trouble re-re bumper and cut lil hole near latch ..

Battery connection under hood

There is a B+ battery connection directly next to the under hood, left side fuse panel covered by a removable snap on cover. Same as connecting to battery positive post.
